1. Introduction & Scope

Market Pulse AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website https://marketpulseai.us and related applications and services (collectively, the "Service"). We are committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal information of our users in compliance with United States federal and state privacy statutes (including the California Consumer Privacy Act / CCPA as amended by the CPRA), Apple App Store Review Guidelines (specifically Guidelines 5.1.1 and 5.1.2), and Google Play Developer Policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly for the following operational and legitimate business purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To generate real-time corporate earnings calendars, macroeconomic release schedules, and downloadable or live-subscribable .ics calendar feeds.
  • Cross-Device Synchronization: To sync your watchlist between desktop browsers, tablets, and mobile devices when you sign in.
  • Notification Delivery: To embed your chosen reminder intervals (e.g., 15m, 1h, 2h before report) within calendar feed specifications.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: To monitor feed traffic against bot scraping, denial-of-service attempts, and server abuse.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & Infrastructure

We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers. We share data only with trusted, secure infrastructure providers who are bound by strict data processing agreements:

  • Google Cloud & Firebase: Used for hosting, cloud database storage (Cloud Firestore), and identity authentication (Google Sign-In, Firebase Auth). Google maintains SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA-compliant data centers.
  • Apple Inc.: Facilitates authentication when you select Sign in with Apple, including support for Apple's private email relay service.
  • Official Agency & Market APIs: Publicly available financial and macroeconomic data is retrieved from Nasdaq and official U.S. government agencies (Federal Reserve, Bureau of Labor Statistics, BEA). No personal user data is ever transmitted to these data providers.

5. Data Retention & Right to Account Deletion (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

In accordance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play policy, users have full control over their account lifecycle:

  • Data Retention: We retain your cloud watchlist and account profile only for as long as your account remains open and active.
  • Self-Service Account Deletion: You may request complete erasure of your cloud account and all associated watchlists at any time by emailing us at bahaahany@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account."
  • Immediate Processing: Upon receiving your deletion request, your authentication credentials, cloud watchlist records, and subscription mappings are permanently purged from Google Firestore and Firebase Authentication within 30 days.
  • Local Data: You can immediately erase locally stored guest watchlists by clicking "Clear All" in the watchlist builder or clearing your browser's local storage.

6. Your Rights Under U.S. & California Law (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident or resident of states with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah), you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know / Access: You may request a copy of the specific personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information collected from you.
  • Right to Correct: You may update or correct inaccurate profile information.
  • No Sale / No Sharing for Cross-Context Advertising: We do NOT sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to opt out because we do not engage in these practices.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service for exercising your statutory privacy rights.

Our Service is directed exclusively toward investors, traders, and adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will promptly delete such information from our records.
